I don't think the NYT was the only one that failed to mention that the Ukrainians were surrendering at that plant. All of MSM coverage of this war has been BS cheerleading for Zelensky. I figure the Ukranians can stand 'winning' this great for about 2 more weeks max.

I know that but I still subscribe. The digital edition is cheap. I subscribe for the crossword puzzles, the other games, esp. Wordle, the recipes section, and the occasional really good human interest article that comes along. Plus, one of my children lives across the river in Nyack so I visit the city regularly. The Times can alert me to special museum exhibits and performance events, etc. Also, the insight into the liberal mindset is invaluable and entertaining. Reader comments are the best for that. Last, there is the occasional welcome surprise. For ex., the Editorial Board last week came out against the forgiveness of student loans and trashed the Biden plan.
