Clinton presided over the internet bubble that left millions of gullible Americans destitute.
I still remember when companies were reporting pro forma earnings and relegated GAAP earnings to the footnotes section. There were some sky-high PE ratios that resulted from the exaggerations, and a lot of tax money was collected from people making it big on that dot-com boom.

That's the bubble that Clinton rode. That's the bubble upon which Clinton "balanced the budget."

Seems like we're seeing sky-high valuations again, only this time we have trillion dollar deficits. Something's gotta give. Inflation just seems like one consequence, no matter how major it is.
