Misconceptions About Ivermectin Dosing

The main focus of this article will be to examine an argument against it that I’ve come across again and again: that ivermectin could not possibly work against COVID because the dosage required to have antiviral activity is not achievable in humans.

summary:
  • research on this topic is extremely limited, with wildly varying results
  • lungs achieve higher concentrations of ivermectin compared to blood plasma
  • different types of cells are affected differently by the same dosage of IVM
  • highest concentrations of ivermectin is reached in fat tissue (and obese people are more vulnerable to Covid)
  • Some antibiotics were originally dismissed because blood levels seemed too low to have efficacy, but then clinical results proved that they had an effect on bacterial infections
  • it was thought IVM's plasma concentration was too low for it to work against parasites, but of course it does work very well
