TMR performed with the use of a thoracoscope allows the surgeon to access and view the heart through one inch incisions in the chest cavity without spreading the patient's ribs. This compares to the four to six inch incision which is utilized in a conventional TMR procedure. Thoracoscopic TMR should allow for faster patient recovery, which can lead to a decrease in hospital costs.

The chart is predicting something....NEPF
