Poilievre, just an Anglo
or
Old stock

Rex Murphy's complaint that Canada won't honour Don Cherry never mentioned why.
As far back as the 80's Cherry made his feelings about non-Anglo's well known.
His comments and off-colour remarks over the years are legion.
The final nail in his public coffining was his comment about immigrants and poppies.

Harper used the word "old stock" in his last election campaign trying to appeal to racists.
That Poilievre thinks it is a good tactic reveals a lot about his character, or lack of it, as the case may be.
I am surprised he didn't claim to be "pure laine" as well, a simple Anglo-Saxon pure laine candidate.

The Conservatives can make themselves irrelevant by choosing Poilievre.
