mRNA vaccines are aimed only against a spike protein - not against anything else. Natural infection, OTOH, will challenge our immune systems to developed antibodies to other antigens the virus may carry - not just that spike protein. So, the immunity is likely to be broader. It sounds like being vaccinated against the spike protein somehow interferes with our ability to develop additional immunity to other viral antigens that may be present. Interesting. They are developing CoViD vaccines made the conventional way, using all or parts of the real virus. This sounds promising. Not sure if any of them have received the EUA yet. With some luck, those vaccines may prove safer and more effective. BUT - it would be best if the virus simply continues to become weaker and less dangerous. It would become just another coronavirus that causes a “cold”. Sooner or later, the hysteria around it would simply have to die.
