Maybe. Or maybe he is trying to ease the pain to his customers.

The cynic in me believes this is a CYA against the shareholder lawsuit that will follow the bubble burst.

MSFT has been doing just this for years.

BTW, a very interesting article about YHOO. Very balanced and gives some insight on their longer term direction.
