WW3 sounds exciting but then you might see true horror which none of us has really experienced. Luckily the USA has a very powerful and technologically advanced military. The similar situation was with Rome before it fell. A populace that was soft and entitled and primed for a fall. Personally, I do not want to sit in my house with a weapon guarding the perimeter of my house. But I could do that better than most if absolutely necessary.
