Here's another: Were you raised by wolves, or Jesuits ;-) Put another way, was that hectoring person that communicated to you your transparent Freudian superego a control freak in the family, or was it perhaps the nuns at school that gave that to you?

Well, you said that "standards" are meaningless. But the way to develop for multiple platforms is to develop code according to standards.
