Controversial? You mean something I wrote isn't 100% obvious and true? Admittedly I didn't write every detail and for example Boris's motivations might involve a lot more than his familial sufferings and deaths, but it's near enough for government work and to explain why he might risk the end of the world. Vengeful antipathy drives a lot of people. When driving a car, for example, watch them gesticulate and road rage at people who do things a bit wrong . Deaths regularly occur as a result, though mostly it's not that serious. If their cars were armed with machine guns and rpgs, and no police were around, and no laws other than "might makes right", there would be a lot of destroyed and burned out hulks on the roadway. Plenty of people tolerate all sorts with equanimity and drive cooperatively, but plenty don't. I don't think the sins of the father apply to the sons. So I have no antipathy to Japanese, or Germans, or Russians, or Turks, who killed my ancestors and family, or tried, long ago. I'm not interested in figuring out who were the Goodies and Baddies. The arrow of time is moving on at the speed of light. But it's not quite that simple, because we are like dog breeds = pit bulls have baby pit bulls and some dog breeds are invariably happy go lucky sociable. So a woman impregnated by a rapist might reasonably choose to abort the baby pit bull being a parasite in her body. Or even kill it at birth. Should that apply to whole tribes of people? That's more complex. The Hutus thought so. As did Serbs at Srebenica. And Germans, French, Ukrainians and others across Europe, and Moslems regarding Jews in the Final Solution. Currently, being a Russian is frowned on, or fatal if the Azovs get you. I think voting and Tradable Citizenship is better than genocide. I like One World government but not the current design in which PNAC, the President, Senate, Congress, Pentagon drone anyone they dislike, such as Julian Assange. That's just the Roman Empire writ large. One World should have extremely limited constitutional power, such as air quality, ocean pollution, spectrum, orbits inside geostationary, rivers and suchlike, borders. The last is being applied to Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol. Unfortunately, it's complex. I like the Scotland, Brexit, Ireland, Bosnia, Montenegro type solution = devolution and voting.
