I came very close to cracking up in a giggle fit at the altar myself. A coupla grins got past the defenses. All the time, I was chanting "solemn occasion" and all that baseball-scores kinda stuff. And oh yes, a wedding is an act of grace. It's for the families, not for the poor worn-out b&g. I simply wish in hindsight that when the time to intone the vows came around, i'd said something more - personalized - than "I will." (The pastor didn't approve of "I do." Hrmpf.) Like maybe... "Okey dokey."
