>>Maybe you should check my site, the info is there in black and white.<<

You keep telling us to visit your site for the answers when we disagree with you. However, those who disagree with you are mostly Netscape users, and your site doesn't work with Netscape. I haven't been able to use it with 3.0 last year or 4.0 this year. So why keep telling us, of all people, to visit your site?

Visiting your site is only for microfiles, far as I can tell. So if you want to share your wisdom on these many topics, you'll have to copy the materials here to SI for us to see.

Do you think MSFT would have been worth what it is now if they put their NT development dollars into a share repurchase program?

Well, they could have funded their own code, instead of taking Cutler's stolen DEC code, but that's another story. I know, I know, Standard Microsoft Business Practice and all that.

You also need to talk to your accountant about options theory, the liability would not produce a loss, if they were accounted for properly. Maybe you should check my site, the info is there in black and white.

Right. I got that from a story in the NYT, which I posted here as usual. But, I'm sure you know better. Just like you know better on every technical matter, too, like Microsoft makes Visual C++. Options theory? Is that like quantum mechanics or something? Anyway, since you're always telling us how earnings per share doesn't matter, why don't they just issue stock for the options? Then they'd have more money to burn on even more world takeover ventures, with the guaranteed 90% margins they get on everything they touch. Right? Like, you know, that new media triumph, the artfully edited Funk and Wagnall's, that the OEMs have to bundle until it's #1, then they can't have it anymore?

Cheers, Dan.

It is the Dilberts like you who write the checks and don't have a slightest clue what is going on.
