I was talking with the remodel guy yesterday and I contended that there's almost no return for an improved driveway for nearly all median homes. I said it's worse than swimming pools, which return only about 30% of an investment at re-sale.

Now, with homes in upper middle class neighborhoods or high end neighborhoods, the return is much higher. In gated communities of the 2%, things like paving bricks can probably return their full value in coastal areas.
