That infrastructure bill money is buying a whole lot less cement and paving materials this year.

At my 2nd house, I was surprised to find that the city can come through, spray paint the street sidewalks with X's and O's, and give you a bill for the repair they will do. They can also conveniently tack it onto your tax bill that year to make things easier for you.

Fortunately only had to have 4-sections replaced.

I had no idea residents were responsible to pay for sidewalk repairs. Maybe it was just a city policy that was unique.
