Flipping houses will be tough now. Real estate has to be going up not dropping or it might drop more than what it costs to redo it.

I know this from experience. <G>

I love brick!! I don't know of anything better. Zero maintenance. Steel/aluminum swells/shrinks and gets dented by hail. Vinyl sunrots or cracks. Masonite chips. Stucco attracts dirt and is a pain to paint.
If they came up with something better that actually worked as promised, I'd go with it but nothing else ever pans out.
I want to build a bigger house here eventually and keep hoping something better will be invented because brick is expensive to have installed plus it's heavy on the foundation. I hope to build something on my big hill in a couple years. The view is spectacular.
