agree...if i may add....if there is an area that certainly needs to better the patient experience is the treatment/prevention of osteoporosis. fosamax is nasty to digest and may cause dental issues as posted. there are some newer drugs out there that bypass the GI tract (prolia, forteo). the latter one being a daily self injectable. Do think eventually this will get down to the molecular level of treatment where the bone eating cells get turned off, bone forming cells get re-energized, and calcium/vit D become better utilized in tissue. Regardless, staying active around the home (in and out) is a necessity and certainly part of any treatment regimen.
