How often has your GP measured your flexibility and fitness?
When was the last time you took a brain MRI so that there is a reference point about your changes?
How are the discs in your spine doing? How is your muscular strength? How many flights of stairs can you climb before going out of breath?
How is your gut health? Can it be quantified?
Etc, etc.

Most doctors don't even know enough about physiology and holistic considerations to be able to help you even if they wanted to, let alone measuring it. The entire focus of the medical school is on disease recognition and treatment. Unless you are going to specialize in diagnostics or internal medicine, you will learn very little on the way of physiology and pharmacology. You can't improve what you cannot measure. And you cannot measure what you don't understand.
