Thank you so much… I’m certainly trying to muddle thru this! I did a quick google search, and on the surface it appears that you can have both, safely. When I’ve got more time I’m going to look for studies and/or trials that have been done, and I’m specifically going to talk to the cardiologist that put my pacemaker in. But as I said earlier, either way this bunch of mangled wires has got to come out! It hurts so dang bad, and although I think my pain threshold is higher than the majority of ppl, just because I’ve had to live with it most of my adult life, I don’t like to hurt. (Not that anyone would know based on my whining, lol). I’ll keep you posted on what I find out regarding both devices, but it won’t bother me too much if I can’t have a stimulator any longer. It never worked that well to begin with… I think it all depends on what’s causing your pain.

Thank you for catching the potential contraindication- you can never have enough eyes on these things. As you said, Dr.’s can miss things too!

Best,

Kim
