ANCR closed above the 200 DMA today (it's still Monday on the Left Coast). The last time ANCR managed this feat was October 13. Congrats!

I am still a bit wary though. Volume was rather anemic and it closed off its high. If ANCR behaves itself, the 200 DMA support ($7 1/2...Cal's Corner) will kick in and ANCR will not close below this level. The more days this occurs, the stronger the support will become. I'm currently cautiously optimistic, hoping to see a 400K+ volume type day on the upside to confirm.

P.S. I got stopped out of my paper short today for a 1/2 point loss. Drats... <g>

George-I believe that IBM recognizes their weaknesses in the storage area. When the time is right they have the muscle to buy their way into the game. They were actually doing very well with SSA when they were selling complete IBM solutions to business, governments etc., but with their strategy to rely much heavier on partners and VAR's SSA will take even more of a hit. They will have to get in the storage game somehow.I think an acquisition down the road will be in their future.
