Ugh. Nasdaq Composite off a percent for the week, while the biotech indices were either much worse (-2.5% for NASDAQ) or slightly better (+0.2% for S&P). Looking at the individual stocks, nothing stands out for the this week's winners (CRIS posted a 31% gain on essentially no news). Soon to close down GNCA continued its slide to oblivion, marking a further 60% drop in value (for a YTD value of only 2.2% of its original price). IMUX’s slide of 45% was understandable in terms of the announcement of a failed Phase II study.

Twelve of the contestant portfolios were in the black for the week, including the top 3 YTD performers who achieved their gains from broad portfolio advances, rather than from holding a position in one of the top 5 stocks. Welcome back to the top 10 list, TAMBORELLI and ETHAN H after a 4 and 2 week absence respectively.

DiegoSan is still in first place, with Dew not so close behind.
