Arun, that's good that you agree with me that they were wrong both times about masks. Now we're getting somewhere.

It was obvious to me from years ago that a partial screen is better than gobs if goop right in the face.

Years ago I started wearing my industrial strength air filters on airliners as getting a respiratory infection was common = very annoying.

28 years ago I saw just much spit people put out when talking when I asked the teller in National Westminster bank, Moorgate why they had glass screens, assuming it was still to stop robbery . NZ had moved to open banks. She pointed to the screen to show the spittle.

On close inspection the glass was coated by thousands if intercepted droplets.

Wear masks and goggles and stand well clear.

Arun, I missed this Are bulletproof vests taking away our freedom?

It's not the vests or masks that take away your freedom, it's the bossy horrible totalitarian communist bastard authorities who order that you shall not have a job, or enter a public place, or private business, supermarket, without a vest, mask, crash helmet, safety glasses, triple Vaxx certificate, tracking app, gloves, safety shoes, federal and local movement permit, approved race, gender and religion.

Admittedly not all those have been enforced yet, but give them time.

There's a real problem = if a serious pandemic gets going, such as 70% mortality humanized H5N1, people won't believe the dumb over-reaching bossy bastards. But on the other hand, individuals will figure it out fast and go into hiding, with no need for laws.

Laws would be needed to stop people entering an uninfected area.

In the covid pandemic, stopping people entering uninfected places such as homes for old people was a good idea. Unfortunately the stupid evil communist mayor of New York required that infected people be put therein.

Maybe covid was just a test run for humanized H5N1 which Fauci and co plan to deploy next. 70% mortality would be world record calamitous.
