RE: Short Term or Long Term?

This is yet another of those times when an IOM investor has to decide if he's a short term investor or a long term investor. (Or a short term investor become long term investor... <G>)

If you're a long term investor, the class action lawsuit is a non-event. Don't worry about it. Check your 10-Q at the end of the quarter and read the summary.

If you're a short term investor and you're long, you messed up. (Maybe you can sue the law firm for announcing this while you were long...) If you're a short term investor and you're short or in cash, congratulations. You're set to profit from this short term event.

Keep it all in perspective, and remember why you invested in Iomega and what your timeframe is.

Not so great channel check.

Visited my local CompUSA today and sure enough there was that pallet of Zip sitting in the middle of the main isle, just as well stocked as my last visit about 3 weeks ago. There were Zips piled on top of unopened UPS shipping cartons which each contained 4 Zip boxes. The problem is that when I looked at the date on the shipping label it said 11-27-97. That's almost 3 months and they are still working on the same shipment. The pallet may very well have been restocked during my 3 week absence but the fact is they are still working of of that 11/97 delivery.....not encouraging :(

<<<I'd like to propose that anyone posting a message here on the Iomega thread has to include a lawyer joke. <G>>>>

I heard that it was so cold in New York City this year that lawyers were actually seen walking around with their hands in their own pockets.
