Maybe not if you get long Covid from it? Up to 20% of infections are leading to it.

My fully vaccinated and boosted brother-in-law had two very rough days over last weekend with Covid and is still recovering from it.

I will encourage him to see his doctor soon to get blood tests checking for organ damage, one of the problems associated with long Covid. He only has one kidney after donating one to his sister in 2013.

Why even care about Omicron? Its like the common cold. Much ado about nothing
It's a strange disease. Some people experience mild symptoms, like you point out, and some people say it's like the worst disease they ever had. I have family members in both camps, some hardly know they have it, and some are severely ill.
