Controversial? I read it again to see if something was controversial in what I wrote. I suppose some people might think such ideas improbable to impossible. But they are ill-informed or not thinking straight.

Meanwhile, another aspect that surprised me was the huge lack of epidemiology regarding covid and what it has done. There are bits and pieces and some hopelessly imprecise statistics on age, race, obesity and whatnot, but no supersonic detailed multivariate analysis of all variables correlated with outcomes for individuals.

It should be possible to give a precise risk for each individual according to their individual characteristics:
Diabetes
HbA1c levels
Obesity
Age
Vitamin D levels for a year preceding infection
Vitamin C levels ...
zinc content before and during infection
ACE2 receptor numbers in lungs and various organs
Inflammatory tendency
Sugar consumption before and during infection
Carbohydrate consumption before and during infection
Immune system variables
Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio during infection
Invermectin consumption before and during infection
Heart function
Oxygen levels before infection
Lung function however measured
Genetic variables
Whatnot...

Sure, they have said that old, fat, diabetic, heart and lung disease people with immune system comromised with low vitamin D levels are very vulnerable, but a lot more people that that have died from covid or got seriously ill, I guess. Where are the intricate details? Epidemiologists should have been crawling all over hundreds of millions of infections and outcomes.
