Maybe I got the wrong Stephanie, the Stephanie on the VTPI board goes by the name Stephanie M, I believe, if that's the case my apologies to Stephanie on this board.

<<as hype can do more harm than good>>

Douglas: I believe you hit the nail on the head. My assessment of what we have here is a legitimate company trying to create a new business concept, and a few on this board who are shamelessly hyping the stock.

We have a very positive announcement today that provides a small first step toward success for the company. But the step that was taken is still small. $750,000 over three years and 17 (I think) planned tournaments. It comes to a total of about $44,000 per tournament.

A nice first step, for which the company deserves congratulations. But they are going to need a lot more than that to make this a viable enterprise.

Yet we have people on this board talking about the stock going to $1 on this news alone, and then taking off from there. A stock that rises on hype and then doesn't live up to the hype collapses under its own weight. The damage done in such a situation is very harmful to the company and its stock.

I suspect that those who are really interested in this company and its prospects as a long-term investment are not those who are predicting the stock to "take off." I suspect those who are calling for the rocket launch could care less about the long-term viability of the company, but are interested in making a quick buck from the suckers who buy into the hype.
