Electric, where did you see AMAT trading down 4? CNBC said it was down 1/4 in after hours. The company did not offer any additional negative news, and the only thing that remains unknown is whether the slowdown will effect the second half of the year.

The market is an efficient pricing engine. When INTC gave its earnings report ... several fundamentalists said that slowing revenues would not support a surge in the stock. Two weeks later INTC ran up 15 points, for the market had already priced into the stock exactly what the company has repeated warned and formally reported and was now looking into the future. While OJ was ranting and waving his hands about blindsides remaining for KLIC, it was time to close shorts on KLIC and to go long. The sentiment had turned, time to be accumulating as posted two weeks ago.
