More bad news: Cell phone
handset margins are plummeting in a new wave of
competition from Motorola, Ericsson and Nokia.

Ericsson?? Really?? As to the others, bring on the royalties.....................

Really, the doom and gloomers, can't even get the facts straight!! The other day it was no infrastructure as a a reason to short. Even those simpiltons couldn't admit that they were wrong, it wasn't infrastructure that brought it down but Korea..........

Candle stick,

You may get lucky and get a few bucks from shorting QCOM. But always do you own research first before compare "candle" and "stick".

When you combine "candle" and "stick" together, you are talking nonsense now. CYMI is CYMI. Can you compare CYMI to ORCL also. You will be bursted if you short ORCL the last few days. Can you compare IFMX to CYMI. I bought IFMX at 4.125 on 12/31/97 and sold it on 1/5/98 at 6. That is an almost 50 % increase in 5 days. It is still at 6 and above. Do your research before shorting a stock! Getting lucky does not count. I am thinking your analysis is as good as Chuckj. May be you guys are related. In fact, I may really need your help to get into QCOM at a lower price. Only I am as lucky as you.

Good luck to your short.

Brian H.

I'm shocked. I actually used to think that Forbes was a pretty good magazine. Now with their "Huh!" comment they reveal that they don't have a clue that Korea exports phones using Qualcomm ASICS. Pathetic.
