Craig,

A few questions for you.

1. Which CPU do you anticipate will go in a $300 PC?

2. What will the manufacturing costs have to be for such a processor?

3. What are the die size and yield requirements for achieving that cost?

These are the issues that will separate the winners from the losers in the low end marketplace.

There is a lot of design work going on in Israel. NSM, INTC, IBM,
and many others are taking advantage of the high education level
in that country. The Technion keeps cranking out the engineers.
NSM has been in Israel for many years, so assigning work there
should not be so startling.

without a good imbedded core for their entertainment product, as
well as x86 appliance offerings.
