There hasn't been much to update in regard to SPX. SPX has been trading in a 100 point range between $4070 and $4170. Honestly, I have no idea which direction it is going to break or when. The chop may continue to frustrate bulls and bears - though it should be pointed out that June opex week has a traditional bullish bias.

One can look at the INTC chart and clearly see that bad news in the form of a pre-announcement was coming. Was it all priced in? No, but most of it was. These kind of high profile pre-announcements traditionally come near the end of bearish moves in the stock price. The bigger question is what is priced in in terms of overall earnings estimate revisions to the downside. I think most of it is priced in. Maybe another 10% downside, tops 15%.

chips in the doghouse... yet they are really one of those things that everyone always buys.. if indirectly :) and their necessity is only going to grow .. sort of like a staple ..in a world of increasing folks wanting things.. and a world where more things want chips ... which makes folks want them even more ... sounds like a good LT story I have a smallish yet diverse widows and orphans high yield portfolio for my nomad daughter.. It has weathered all the turbulence very well .. It has lots of yield... I think it needs some chips.. need to put the divi cash to work
