People who compare the January 6th insurrection to crimes committed during some of the nationwide George Floyd protests in 2020 miss something: You’re defending those who planned and carried out the insurrection. Few are defending those who burned down stores or hurt people.

@TheValuesVoter

More than 14,000 arrests followed acts of violence and vandalism that occurred during some of those protests. Good! Catch and prosecute every single person who threw things at cops, lit buildings on fire, stole things or whatever else. Hold every last one of them accountable.

Replying to @TheValuesVoter
See how easy that is? People who do the wrong things need to pay the price for doing it. It’s called accountability. Don’t call them Patriots. Don’t make excuses for them. Definitely don’t make a documentary romanticizing their actions like the Testicle Tanner on Fox did.

Repeat after me: “every single person who committed crimes during the George Floyd protests, along with anyone who conspired with them to commit crimes, needs to be prosecuted.” You did it! I’m proud of you!

Okay. Now say the same thing about January 6th. You can do it!
