What can I say? Everyone ignores me now, all without the button! hehehe

Will the Ignore button stifle the free wheelin, give and take that is characteristic of the SI forums.

People will not state their opinions as freely, for fear of the Mighty Button!

Fragile egos will be crushed by the Ignore button, people will withdraw into their own little worlds and refuse to participate. <<vbg>>

Actually, I did suggested to Jill awhile back, that a way to filter obnoxious posts could be a good thing. Also, a function where a person could control their own posts permanently, but not anyone else's. Such as deleting, changing posts. Then she wouldn't have everyone go crying to her, because they put a post on here that they now regret, 24 hours later.

The ignore function has been used in chatrooms such as Webchat since conception and it has no ill effects on the interaction there.

I don't believe a lot of people would use it, because we all have a morbid desire to hear what people are saying about us, even the bad stuff.

Oh well, just push the IGNORE button and go on..

Zeuspaul, with all this Fonar talk on this thread, I bet you're wishing you had a cable modem right 'bout now. Bummer (gg).
