They have disposed of entrenched Ukrainian positions much quicker than I thought was possible. Ukraine had been building fortifications for 8 years and had amassed a very significant presence in the past year to prep for an invasion of the Donbas. Russia has eliminated the entire thing in about the same period of time it took us to conquer Falluja in Iraq. It has been quite a display of their abilities. Of course, it is in their backyard which makes it easier than our war in Iraq from a logistics standpoint, but even so.....Ukraine was much better armed with a much stronger army than Iraq had.
