I don't dispute it, what I question is RELIABILITY. Let's separate the snakeoil salesmanship from reality? The present day Internet isn't reliable. The Csco's and such are full of beans. When I make a call, or better yet you; you expect connectivity and so forth. Is the Internet there yet?????????? Take it one step further; the bandwidth that you utilize today to voice has to be shifted to IP voice??? It's not vapor. The net sum gain is what?? I don't disagree that this is the future. What I disagree with is MSFT is trying to manipulate you and I, plus everyone else, into believing that we need a $2500 computer to do what we do for a cheap price NOW. Give away MFST O/S and allow a computer, sans a monitor, to be say $150 bucks!! Think the computing world wants that ??? My telephone isn't obsolete, but my 486 is!!! Think about it.
