Bob, this question has come up before, and if I recall, commissions against sales of this nature are substantially reduced. I'm sure you just have to tell them (the broker) your reasons...

another option is to sell it for $1 to a friend or donate it to charity--i think you can do that and get by with out paying commisions.

i thought i also read you can declare a loss if it is a pink sheet stock and dont even bother selling it...i'll doble check andget back next week

simply have your broker send you something on paper that the stock
is worthless.......then you may declare it as a loss without having
to sell it.
