< Democrats lose in the midterms and no Green New Deal gets passed>

Democrats today control the White House, Senate, and House, yet no Green New Deal has happened. Nobody is even talking about trying to do it. So your imaginary conspiracy is plotting against an imaginary threat.

Meanwhile, Texas and Iowa are installing lots of wind power, and Florida is installing lots of solar. Republicans govern those states. Here in Alaska (another conservative place) many rural towns off the grid are installing wind and even solar.
