This month is a quarterly and half year expiration. The positions were opened and dynamically hedged long ago.

Prior to weekly and intra-week options, the monthly expirations were a big deal with lots of action leading into the expiration.

These days, that action has moved to the weekly and intra-week expirations, so it's not as big a deal as it used to be, IMO.
