I have not heard from Jeff since he stopped posting on SI in July 2003. He had a habit of using forums prolifically, and then disappearing. Someone PM'd me a couple years later saying they found him on another forum. I don't recall which one. I looked, and it seemed like it was him, but he immediately stopped posting there. He had a great way of seeing actionable patterns that other people could not. Some people are just better visually that way. I'm also a bit like that, and maybe that's why we got along so well.
