his comments are important.

not sure why he didn't address the role of 'ethicists' who greatly influence changes in professional standards.
from what i've read, 'ethicists' tend to be lawyers and not members of the profession for which they
influence/design professional standards. and, due to the complexity of ethics, including its politic and
various monetary risks, professionals are compelled to defer to ethicists, regardless of the "right or wrong"
direction.

conform or leave...
follow the nazi ethic of expediency or find another source of income.
