I finished Bosch:Legacy last night. I am not sure why they gave it a new name instead of just being another season of Bosch, as it features most of the same characters and setting. Yes, Bosch is no longer a cop but his daughter has become one. The series generally delivered, although I found the hired assassin sequences boring, and the Mimi Rogers character is much less interesting as a female foil for Bosch than his former sergeant. I am guessing whoever owns the Bosch cliffside house in real life got tired of it being on the show, since by the end of the series Bosch seems to have sold it.. I also breezed through the latest season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It was entertaining, though there were even more of the boring (to me) tribute to musicals type of scenes. The show certainly revels in the '50s look, which to me is very unattractive. Fortunately there are always some good jokes when things start to lag. Now to choose among the dozens of shows clustered at the top of my Watch Next list. Maybe Pistol, or the last season of Better Call Saul, or the Dutch series Dirty Lines, or the Welsh series Fragile or the French series The Middleman or We Own This City or the Spanish series Rapa or... And one of these days I really need to watch the last season of The Americans, plus I have several thousand movies to get through.... LC
