You make a lot of great points. But I recently saw a chart where over 85% of US listed stocks are trading below there 200-sma? That puts them in a primary bear market where nothing good happens outside of short term bounces or rallies, which eventually most likely fail so one has to be quite nimble on the long side or just focus on the 15% of stocks that still look somewhat or a bit bullish.

The scary part of that stat above says that we are in a secular bear market rather than a cyclical bear market, where you get about 35% of stocks in long term bullish trends.

I have heard CNBC say that half of all Nasdaq listed stocks have fallen at least 50%.

Trying to catch a bear market rally in its early stages is difficult, but very profitable.
