Re <<I wish I knew more>>

I fear we shall know more of what we do not like to hear.

Coconut reckons to get 3rd booster of tradVaccine late July to get her over the hurdle of USA winter. Told her to be careful but no need to panic should she catch the virus.

Shall pack for her some tradCures in case they come in handy.

Tough being parents.

I wish I can do more by knowing more.

I remain a PureBlood = have guessed at risk vs reward, dangers vs safety and so far so good. Risk factors very good other than age = orders of magnitude T cell and whatnot reduction in effectiveness.

There were too many lies and obvious stupidities by the so-called experts to take them seriously. They actually hide critical data. Informed choices are impossible without data and science.

For example they said get vaxxed and protect the elders but it was no protection for elders as youngsters still catch and pass on covid, but it did give the vax risk to the gullible young people for negligible to zero benefit to themselves. Now the FDA is giving the ok to give infants covid vax risk.

Zero information on epidemiology other than simplistic obesity, age, COPD, diabetes correlations with bad outcomes to death. What about all the variables so every individual could get a precise risk assessment for their individual prognosis? Nothing despite tera$bucks spent and many millions dead and a billion or so infected.

In the hinterlands of epidemiology there is something about Neanderthal DNA, zinc, vitamin D, vitamin A, etc, but there should be good data available long ago, with information promoted so all variables are available to people to figure out what to do, with their medical advisors if help is needed.

Shockingly useless.
