Watch out for traders dumping stock to lower the price. If you feel good about this stock, hold strong. Selling because you see a 20,000 sell order going in will only cause a run (Down) Of course do your own D.D. Good luck to all!

How do you copy something which you don't have access to? Unless the BAAT developers hand over an engine to the competition, how will they be able to copy it?

More on patents...

As soon as you file a patent disclosure, you have disclosed to the world what you are doing. This makes it possible for the competition to copy your work. A few small modifications combined with a good legal staff will allow technology to be easily stolen.

Microsoft's entire success has been based on this concept. They steal other company's (Apple, Novell, Sun, Netscape, Stacker, etc...) technologies, make a few modifications, and get rich off it.

BAAT is smart to protect their technology from the flawed patent system as long as they can.

Mike, why WOULD they want a patent on it at this time???? It wouldn't make sense to do that! Please read my post from last night which addressed this issue. All a patent would do is 1) force them to disclose the description of the technology and 2) allow other automakers to then copy it knowing full well BAAT does not have the financial resources to protect it in court! Keeping it a trade secret keeps it out of the hands of competitiors. Patents are something StockDetective obviously knows nothing about. A patent only affords you the right to sue to protect it, BAAT cannot afford to do that, so keeping it a trade secret is in their best interest.
