Re: BHP Dividend

Looking at my last few BHP dividend distributions I see the following posted:

Div Type: Qualified

BHP GROUP LTD FSPONSORED ADR 1 ADR REPS 2 ORD SHS

Noticed a $45 management fee in June (only charge since 2018)

Also received a special qualified dividend 1/30/2019
----------------------------------------------------------------

Typically if there is a Foreign tax it is detailed in the posting. Then at the end of the Year (on 1099) I can submit a Foreign Tax credit. So from everything I see, there is no Foreign Tax applied on my dividend distributions.

Dividends are paid twice a year in March & September.

For the March 2022 distribution the dividend was $3/share

--------------------------------------------------------------------

FWIW I started a new position in the ROTH (last month) and have held BHP in the taxable account since 9/2001.

BHP also spun off tax free shares in their Woodside Energy Group (WDS) earlier this year 1 share WDS for every 2.77 shares of BHP
