The sanctions, effective or not, had to be done, because the world was watching

Tragically the sanctions did not and are not working, and the de facto security guarantee given to Ukraine also not working and wasn’t even tried, the world watching

If Team USA lost Afghanistan in a few months, and again lose an important Ukraine in a few months, then …

Recommendation to Biden, go all-in, Hail Mary, boots on the ground, and if works, great, and

if not, blame it on Putin, because this time would be legit.

For the same reasons the sanctions had to be tee-ed up big, the same reasons go for why boots must hit the ground. Perhaps some domains willing to participate in coalition against Russia for real. Poland, UK, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia might wish in, the first wave, and Japan the second wave. Believe Germany, Italy, and France not reliable.

Count China out, for as in the case of N.Korea back in 1950s and N.Vietnam 1960s, China already gave word to Russia, remaining ‘agnostic’, ‘neutral’, and ‘special’

Forget India, busy with own issues.

Australia and Canada no matter.

More to ponder is the value of Gold under such special circumstances.

We watch BRICS, but might ignore the B, I, and S for they might not yet be ready for palace coup.
