That curve has nothing to do with heat pumps, but the global demand on coal, dope. Higher coal prices make renewables more attractive, dope. Soon there'll be demand destruction, dope.

BTW, dope. I have a heat pump at home. It's good for air conditioning, as well as heating. It's cheaper than conventional AC units, because of its high efficiency. I also have solar panels, which offset the electrical consumption, dope...

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, air source heat pumps can reduce electricity usage for heating by up to 50% compared to electrical furnaces and baseboard heaters.
