So there is no air quality impact in crowded conventions, conferences, casinos, and churches. Especially since singing in churches is the norm. What are you thinking? Your medical education and experience is more narrow than I imagined. Open your eyes to what the real experts in the mechanisms of spreading aerosols in the environment say. They are not doctors. Their work is applied science. That is engineering. These experts are being pushed aside by the doctors in charge of the public information campaigns. Doctors are always the real experts. Gaah! The medical science on virus transmission has been lead astray by those who emphasize surface contamination and transmission by close contact. You should follow Professor Jose-Luis Jimenez, University of Colorado Boulder among other experts. Professor Jimenez has done a deep study into why medical science lost it's way on aerosol transmission in the early 1900's. Here is a long twitter thread in which he reviews how we got where we are, going back to the errors of Charles Chapin.twitter.com If the link doesn't start at 1/ scroll up to the beginning and read the whole thread. He assesses the role of Charles Chapin, starting at 30/, stating how Chapin misinterpreted earlier measurements by Flugge in 1890 to fit his own bias. This is worth the time to read. It all makes perfect sense to me. Scientific progress is not a straight line always getting better with time. Sometimes mistakes are made. When a very dynamic, forceful individual is the driving force the errors can take decades or generations to unravel. It took me a long time to dig up that link since I have so many regarding covid and aerosol transmission. Check it out, but I am not interested in back and forth arguments. I have a immunocompromised wife due to a kidney transplant. We will never allow ourselves to be in a crowded situation in the future. NEVER!
