That's a true statement. But even with the carnage, there are insufficient amounts available at any environmental cost to create the batteries needed for a total electric fleet conversion.

And charging all of them with what? LOL!! Millions more solar panels and windmills made out of what? Fairy dust? Hint, same elements needed for EV batteries.

As Foghorn Leghorn (my favorite Looney Tune character) used to say, "It's a joke, boy. a joke I say".
