I believe it's regional but I'm not 100% sure. New York, Dallas, KC, etc do their own areas for most stuff but then each is assigned responsibility for certain national reports. I'm fairly sure most inflation, factory orders etc are regional though. I was a Fed watcher hardcore and still have everything sent to me automatically but I slacked off when I got busy and they weren't that important anymore after the GFC and rates stopped moving.
