*AV* -- Someone asked through private e-mail about short interest data. I replied with the following and wanted to share the response and to ask if there is a better site to use.

The following is a direct link to where I find short info:

viwes.com

It is not real time but close enough to see trends

However, you can find the link under dailystocks.com which is a site I like to use. When you link there, plug in the stock symbol and you will get to a page with a bunch of interesting links. IF you go down the left side you should see a grey bar that says SMITH BARNEY (8) ticks. right under it are two links. One is to the short interest on the Nasdaq.

I also like using investools.com

Jeff-I was looking at midnite tomorrow as the deadline but with 328 posts needed, the valiant effort will be dropped. In the spirit of truth in advertising we could say it averages close to 1000 posts a month or over 30 posts per day and over 1 post per hour. If there are 40 lurkers for every post that is submitted, then we have at least 1200 hits per hour. Pretty good audience. We should sell advertising space.
