Swedish armed forces is made up of 23 600 active personnel, 11 200 military reserves, 24 000 Home Guard and 5 200 conscripts (is to increase to 8 000 conscripts by 2024) as of now. The wartime organisation consist of 60 000 personal with a goal of 90 000 by 2025. en.wikipedia.org An organization this size, if well trained and armed - may be a considerable force. But - they have only about 120 tanks and a few dozen pieces of artillery. I’m gradually realizing that Ukraine - at least before the serious damage they’ve suffered - had one of the most impressive armed forces in the world. No wonder it takes the Russians months to push them out of the Lugansk - Donetsk areas.
